Weeknotes: August 9th — 13th

Finding it harder than usual to keep up with these weeknote posts for some reason. Here’s a quick little update:

DDaT

While working on learning modules, we thought a lot about the structure and how to make it flow as a narrative. One assumption floating around in the ether is that people will challenge what the purpose of this content is and who it’s for. Our Service Designers Nic and Lin helped clarify this. We’re gearing up for some initial feedback from department leads, and will continue iterating from there.

Service Thursdays

Attended a really great talk by Emma Parnell called ‘Let’s Talk About Sex’ which talked about about the issues with asking for gender and sex data in the Coronavirus vaccine booking system. Little bits

Other than DDaT stuff there were a few little bits and bobs like proofing our new accessibility statement and minor updates to Registrar pages.
